The stay at Casa do Mar was perfect in every way. The location of the house is very quiet, only a few minutes' walk from the beach, the bus station, the restaurants and the mercado. The house is very cozy, cozy and tastefully decorated. We found everything sparkling clean. In the pretty garden you can best linger and have your meals. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the house.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lisbon! From the very beginning, communication with the host was smooth, friendly, and welcoming – always helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is spotless, very well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place for a couple looking for a cozy and calm retreat in the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay close to the beach, it only needs a few repairs. The building's hallway is a bit gloomy because it's dark, there are no windows and the light only turns on when passing (sensor), but it was only the first impact after it didn't mess me up. Erica was a good host and very communicative, always answered my questions. There were days of rest in a welcoming and beautiful village.

The apartment is located about 400 m from the beach. You are quickly in the beautiful town center, small alleys and bars. We were greeted warmly by Louisa and her husband in person and received valuable tips. The apartment offers a beautiful view over Sesimbra, the harbor and the sea. We were very satisfied and would book the apartment again at any time and recommend it.

Great place to stay if you want to stay in Sesimbra

We had a great stay in the flat! It is well equipped and corresponds exactly to the pictures! It's pretty big for 2 people and it has everything you need for a week stay, including a washing machine! It is located in the very centre of the town, with shops and restaurants, but also 5min access to Sesimbra's beaches. The tips we got from our host for parking were very convenient and easy! The flat remains cool when it's hot outside, which is also nice! We also had a great communication with our hosts. We would suggest improving the bed mattress and pillows which were not too comfortable, especially if you have a sensitive back. this was really the only issue we had and I otherwise recommend this flat and host.

we loved our stay at Tiago's property overall. there were minor hiccups (checking in was a little difficult, but luckily our Uber driver was able to translate and help, after that smooth sailing). The apartment has the most incredible view, breathtaking, stunning. it is walkable but not as fun with little kiddos, there is over 140 stairs going up and down to the beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. There was a concern for dresser that fell over, luckily my child was mildly injured, and I do believe they will take care of it soon. we initially planned to stay for 9 months, but we didn't just love Tiago's property, we fell in love with Sesimbra and decided to stay long term (so we had to find a more permanent living arrangement). I have already recommended his property to family and friends and will stay here in the future. Muito obrigada Tiago

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this Airbnb! Check in was extremely easy Simone was there to walk us through everything and was very responsive throughout the planning process. The apartment itself was very clean and included a full kitchen as well as a washer. Situated in a quiet corner but only takes 10-15 minutes to travel into the main city.

Beautiful! I don’t know where to start - Catarina is an amazing host. If you want to experience all Lisbon has to offer stay at her place and follow her recommendations. The apartment is better than the pics. The views are indescribable and worth every step it takes to get there. A water/city view AND a botanical garden view. It’s all true and being able to choose every day is something you won’t find at another spot. The location is completely walkable. There is an amazing bookstore two doors down and a crazy delicious gelato store right across the street. I could go on but will leave the rest for others to discover. Great location and apartment just as described. We parked about 3 blocks from the apartment in a garage that had 24 hour on site office. Little confusion when we checked out because it was cash only, but we could have asked! Ling was great. Very responsive and allowed us to check in early to leave our bags and get on with sight seeing. Great experience!

Absolutely the nicest Airbnb we ever stayed in! First, we were able to check in early and the property manager met us and showed us around the place, with local recommendations. Apartment itself was beyond expectations, pictures do not do it justice. So beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need (even noise machines!) Air conditioning worked great, as it was really hot outside and we did a lot of walking. Would recommend this to our most particular friends when they are traveling to lisbon!

A Perfect Stay! We had a great week at the apartment, everything was just right. It’s perfectly located for exploring the local area, and the terrace is absolutely stunning, our favourite spot to relax! The place was spotless throughout and incredibly well-equipped, from kitchen spices to a hair dryer. The host was friendly, helpful, and always quick to communicate. We’d definitely recommend this B&B and would love to come back!

The apartment is complete and very clean. The pool is also clean. Only too bad that there are no sun loungers. There is a berth in the grass. For a stay for a city trip, it is definitely recommended. Within walking distance of the Belem neighborhood and by tram in 20 minutes in the city center. You will definitely not find such a nice apartment there. I will recommend the apartment to everyone.

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

Very cozy apartment. Spotlessly clean space with everything you needed. The contact was direct with D. Sidónia, who was very helpful, very attentive and very friendly. Very close to the beach, although with a baby, going by car is more comfortable since the apartment is in a higher area. Pool in very good condition, with sun loungers available and very calm. Quiet nights with no noise in the building.

Lovely stay. Sonia met us on arrival And was very helpful checking us in. Apartment had a lovely view. Was a steep walk back from the beach but we didn’t mind this but just keep in mind. There are some great restaurants near by. We reccomend tacos pexito for a chilled lunch, and Casa Mateus or O bagel for dinner. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks

This was our second time staying in sesimbra, it's a beautiful town, beautiful. beach and lots of lovely local restaurants. we were delighted with the apartment, spacious bedrooms, and living area. The pool is super and the games room a great asset. Only small criticism is the kitchen would benefit from better/fresh cleaning products, the sponges were old/used sweeping brush wasn't great, and the hoover was low performing. We like to keep the house clean each day. Everything else about the apartment is super, lots of towels, big tv, great wifi. We would recommend!

From start to finish, Teresa was most helpful. Accurate information, quick replies to questions all helped beforehand. The apartment itself was brilliant, just what we needed, and the pool was an added bonus, even though the beach and the sea were very close by (although remember Sesimbra is hilly and the quickest way to the beach is via a good number of steps!). The location is great and easy to walk (a few minutes only) to Sesimbra's town and fabulous restaurants. Really happy with our choice. Perfect!
