Our time at Thomas‘ Waldchalet was wonderful. The accommodation is very idyllically located in nature, is super thoughtful and offers good amenities without too much frills. It's great for relaxing and coming down. You feel right at home. We were greeted with a more delicious beer and chocolate. We also especially loved the armchairs and the oven. Also the outdoor area of the house is very nice, including the hot tub, which we enjoyed very much. Thomas is very personable, helpful and was quick to respond if something came up. Due to the location of the chalet, the mobile internet and in our case also the Wi-Fi was unfortunately not so optimally reliable. However, it was completely sufficient for the basics and streaming and it can be quite relaxing, sometimes not being always available for everything and everyone. We would definitely come back. There were three of us here with our 6-year-old daughter and we felt right at home. The wagon was very cozy, the garden very nicely designed and the surroundings exactly as we had imagined it. We lacked nothing! We will be happy to come back!!! Thanks to you!!!

We really enjoyed staying at this great home. It is top renovated, furnished with creativity and attention to detail, but still has the charm of an old farmhouse. Very nicely located, it was the ideal starting point for numerous hikes for us.

Stayed at Julia's place on my way back to London. Julia responded to my enquiry very quickly. I would highly recommend the stay at her place. Definitely will stay again, and longer the next time.

Very nice cottage in a quiet location with large garden. A fence is there, but could just be skipped: dogs should be zauntreu. Behind the house is a canal where you can walk/cycle/jog for miles. The house is equipped with everything you could ever need. Thanks to the fireplace, it was also pleasantly warm in the cooler nights (about 10 degrees Celsius). However, the warmth hardly pulls down in the bedroom and bathroom, so possibly pack a long pajamas. There is also a heater downstairs, but we didn't turn it on. In high summer it is certainly pleasantly cool on the lower floor (and it is also a summer house). The sand dunes above Altdorf were an absolute hiking highlight.

What a unique and delightful stay! It was perfectly as described, I loved the location and the apartment was so comfortable with interesting furnishings. Next time I'm in the area I would definitely hope to stay here again.

Probably the most beautiful Airbnb I've been to so far. We were in the area to explore the climbing paradise of Franconia - from the property you could reach many climbing walls in a very short time. The place was simply beautifully decorated - with a lot of love for detail and very clean. We'll be back!

We stayed with Ralf and Doris for the 2nd time and would come back any time. Communication is always smooth and very friendly. The apartment is a gem and perfect for a short trip to unplug. Always happy to come back!
