Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

What a perfect spot to stay in the garden city. Right in the heart of Merivale this haven away from it all hides a swimming pool, hot tub, darts board, games and a peaceful location to relax. It has three large bedrooms, the cutest cat (if you’re happy like us to have him stay) and plenty of facilities for a big family. My family and I had the best time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Sam and Jeremy were perfect hosts!

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

We spent a week at Gemma’s place while visiting for school MTB racing and I t was perfect! A clean, modern and functional home which was easy to heat on the cold nights and cool and airy on the hotter evenings. Beds were comfy, home well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a knife that cuts a tomato (the ultimate test in my book!). Gemma was easy to deal with and we had no issues at all. Gemma’s place will be on our list when we’re back in Methven.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful brand new house. Very clean and very comfortable, and it was well stocked containing everything we needed and more. Great neighbourhood and close to the city center and convenient for travelling out of central Christchurch as well.

I stayed close by this townhouse 4 years ago and it was not as good and more expensive. This place is modern and spacious. Large garage - 3 TVs, well furnished and great central location. Hagley Park is 5 minutes walk away as are pubs and supermarket, lots of coffee shops and eatery’s. Would stay again for sure.

Fantastic property & location in Christchurch! Susie’s place was warm & welcoming after a rainy driving day. The furnishings, bedding and amenities created a cozy comfortable environment…we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Apartment is bright and welcoming. Good location relatively close to city centre. Bus 60 (Wigram/Southshore) close by about every 30 mins so takes you into city centre. Garage is a large single - good size and height. We had a bit of difficulty getting in and out with a large car but small ones wouldn’t have a problem. Was very clean and warm. Had everything we needed. Can certainly recommend.

Really great accommodation. The layout worked extremely well for us travelling for a multi generation family catch up. Check in is very easy and the space has lots of useful extras that were handy travelling with the kids. Location is excellent, walking distance to a small reserve and a larger park. Thanks for having us!
