Sophie is a great host, friendly and welcoming, and very responsive to any queries. The information book she provided in the flat was very helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, in a beautiful quiet setting. The patio was a lovely sun trap in the evenings for a drink with stunning views! The local village shop was well stocked with both essentials and a deli counter, and the butcher had a lovely bakery as well as a selection of homemade meals and the best steak we’ve ever had! We ate out one night at the local pub and had a really good meal. There also seems to be a really good bus service that runs regularly through the day if you needed it, but from here you are within easy reach of places to visit like Robin Hood’s bay, Whitby, the coast and the beautiful North York moors. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

We had a lovely stay at The Samson Suite last week. It was lovely and clean and beautifully furnished. All the linen was best quality and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to sit outside on the sunny patio as it was so peaceful and private. The suite was easy to find and the parking was great. Its just a short flat walk into Beverley with lots of places to eat, shop and visit. Beverley Minster is also close by. Top class place to stay and we will definitely return. We had a fantastic stay at Michael's - the place was exactly as described, comfortable bed, nice living area and full kitchen. Michael was helpful when we arrived early, use of washing machine and dryer was a great addition. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice place right in the middle of Danby! Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. It’s right next to the bakery with good sandwiches for breakfast. The surroundings are beautiful and everything in the house was as described. There is plenty of space to hang out and relax

Lovely, comfortable apartment, well thought out and cared for. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Location good - better by car, but still a pleasant walk into Ilkley by the back road. Very happy with our choice.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely clean and well looked after, with a beautiful garden that made it feel especially peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was the lovely wooden path next to the property, perfect for quiet walks. It's an ideal spot for a restful holiday. I highly recommend it and would love to come back again. We had a very friendly welcome to this lovely annexe from our hosts. We only stayed a couple of nights to break a long journey and we had a rare wet day so couldn't enjoy sitting in their garden. Sarah and Al were keen to make sure everything was as good as it could be. Their instructions were very clear and there was lots of up-to-date tourist information for anyone staying longer.

Anne was very friendly, helpful and responsive to messages. The place is as described and is ideal for a couple of nights. Highly recommend anyone visiting Scarborough

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back. Such a delightful place, well positioned and fully accessible for a blind person with carer. Such lovely touches made us really feel at home here, even decorated for Christmas. Being able to watch the donkeys in the field outside each morning was really relaxing, and so nice to be close to nature like that with such amazing views. John and Pauline were lovely and so helpful, it made our stay really comfortable. You have really thought of everything. Thank you so much

Enjoyed our stay here. Was great having our own space, felt like home from home. Everything was catered for including a treat for my dog. The flat was very clean and tidy. Ian and Lois were very helpful hosts available whenever to answer any questions we had, would highly recommend if looking for a place to stay in the area.

An Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Bikers and a Peaceful Getaway We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chris & Nikki’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Both hosts went above and beyond – genuine, friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us. As fellow bikers, they truly understood our needs and even made space in their garage so our bikes could be stored safely and securely. That kind of thoughtfulness really made all the difference. The home itself is in an idyllic spot – peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. It was the ideal base for our countryside rides. One thing we particularly appreciated was the “no kids, no pets” policy. It’s rare these days to find a place that caters to adults seeking a bit of peace without the added chaos – it gave the whole stay a much more relaxing vibe. A special shout-out to Chris for lending a helping hand when I ran into an issue with my bike – he stepped in

Lovely private setting. Liz’s place is in a residential neighbourhood, so very quiet - which was lovely after hustle and bustle of driving and sight seeing. The facilities were as described and had everything I needed. Nice lounge area with skylights and view of the garden. Plenty of off street parking. Close to everything. Had a great stay.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Jonathan and Cathy’s lovely accommodation for the second time this weekend.
