Tiago did more than expected. From welcoming cake, unexpected wine tour and requests answered immediately. When we panicked about the fires, he calmed us. This Airbnb is a haven of tranquility. Fresh fruit from trees!!! Vale da Cambra unspeakable beauty and hospitality. Not a lot of English speaking, but at the end we got what we wanted.

Amazing place, relaxing with great views!

Spent 3 nights here and had a beautiful time. Hot tub was a nice touch for the cold winter days. Carlos was extremely sweet and hospitable. Gave us plenty of information about Sever de Vouga and showed us how to get around. Breakfast was served to us everyday at 9am which was a super nice touch. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend. I'll be going back for sure!

Beautiful place, stunning views, very yummy breakfast every morning. Carlos is very friendly and helpful. the little cabins are comfortable and perfect for families.

Ana could not of been kinder! Ana checked in and made sure everything was ok and offered if I needed anything! Ana told me about the area and what was around, Ana is a true credit and absolutely fantastic! The stay was very enjoyable and I hope to come back to the house and area! I liked everything about it! A rustic house with a modern countryside, quiet place to spend a weekend with family and enjoy resting! Very well received and always with a lot of availability.

Restored home in a quiet village where you can breathe in tranquility. You can only hear the birds chirping and the sound of the animals in the field. The surroundings have many tourist attractions, such as the Pendilhe swing, as well as hiking trails. We went as a family to a btt race in the area and Mr. Carlos made the storage of the house available for us to store the bicycles, which was very helpful. Back for sure.

Very nice stay in the quiet location in vineyards. Although the weather was not perfect we spent there beautiful days - also thanks to table football which is outside but under the roof.

An amazing experience- you live in he middle of a peaceful village, and feel right home. Joaquim is the best - always responsive and friendly, helped us in so many ways - like connected us with the local horse ranch for a tour; provided us with his home-made tea, and much more. For an authentic experience of Portugal- highly recommend!

There are houses, lodgings, to stay and others to get away, stay overnight and little else. This is one of the best we've been to. The house is kind of magical, in the girls' opinion, which I share. The outdoor space, providing shade in a scorching August, is a gift. It was a pleasure to wake up and fall asleep there.

Casa do Palheiro is funny, small and functional, with a place for breakfast and dinner in the threshing floor, a barbecue and a great swimming pool. The place shows a thriving natural beauty.

We loved the stay at the Farm, the place is comfortable, very well cared for, and the house has everything a family needs. The garden in front of the farm is quite large, and from each window it has a magnificent panoramic view. We went to the fluvial beach of espadanedo, which is 20 minutes away, where we swim, kayak and had a picnic. We also know Cinfães and Castelo de Paiva, which are 15 minutes away. The farm is located in a central location, close to everything. Everything was perfect, and it was an unforgettable stay.

Hosts are a well of friendliness, always available to fulfill our requests. The house and outdoor space are wonderful and private. Lots of outdoor activities to do nearby. Recommended for groups of friends / family!

Sara’s place was fantastic for a week-long reunion with some friends. It had everything our group needed for the week, and we particularly enjoyed the private pool and sunset views from the deck. The location was great, being right on the river and a 5-10min drive from hiking trails, kayak rentals, great restaurants and local wine tastings. Sara was also very proactive, providing us with local recommendations and clear instructions on how to get there, and being quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. Couldn’t recommend Sara’s place more for anyone looking to spend a weekend or week in the area.

Like the other reviews say, the pictures don’t do the view justice. Absolutely stunning location overlooking the Douro river. The house itself was so clean and comfortable. The fresh bread provided every morning was such a nice touch! Absolutely recommend staying here!

The couple of the farm was incredibly welcoming and nice. They baked two cakes for us during our stay, out of hospitality. In addition, they helped us with all our questions despite their somewhat flawed English. They also gave us free fresh bread from the bakery. The rooms in the house themselves were full of comforts and incredibly clean. The farm is also incredibly large, so there is no lack of space. I can recommend this Airbnb to everyone, we will definitely be back!
