Vacation rentals with beach access in Santo Antão

Olavo's apartment is very spacious, located 10 minutes from the beach, and close to amenities, the best ice cream parlor at the bottom of the building, convenience store 100 meters away. The balcony was a plus for us, since the carnival was right below. Olavo is very responsive, you can send a message, he responds right away.

Great place with a great view! Quiet and peaceful. The only thing i would suggest is change the single beds to doubles. They are to small for adult size people. Other than that it was a great stay

We stayed in Mindelo for 5 days and the apartment was perfect for us 4. Spectacular views of the city, mountains and sea from the apartment. A supermarket is downstairs in the building and the apartment is very well equipped and very clean. You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes or drive very cheaply for no €2 by taxi. Check-in and check-out was hassle-free via contact person/security. We had really great days in Mindelo with excursions also to Sao Antao, and relaxing in a nice spacious apartment. Elsa is an extraordinary host. The apartment is probably the most beautiful on the island - with views of the ocean, the mountains, and everything else. A grocery store right in the building, and a pool downstairs (it was being renovated when we were there so we didn't get to use it, but it looks stunning). There is also a second grocery store via a 7 minute walk, and CNAD is about 8 minutes away, not to mention the 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elsa as a host - she goes out of her way to make you feel connected to the community. Thanks, Elsa!

This was an amazing stay

Nuun was there at our arrival even though it was late in the evening. We even got locked out one night where he responded and organised for us to get back in immediately! The apartment was beautiful, with stylish decor and the highlight is the stunning view! Recommend staying here if visiting Sao Vicente!

We were moved from our original booking to this apartment following a water issue in the building. Our host communicated with us and offered the change (it was un upgrade to what we had previously so it was a no-brainer to agree!) before we actually arrived in Mindelo. So hats off for being forward and helpful, we don't know what we would have done in the heat of Mindelo without water!!!! (water is very precious in Cape Verde, it hasn't rained in 3 years so don't take those issues lightly. Our host did very well by sending us into another apartment ). The apartment itself is big with 3 bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and were all very comfortable . The kitchen is big and functional . We didn't cook in there while we were in Mindelo. We indulged in local restaurants instead! And since the place is well located, we had a lot of options. The beach is literally across the street, and it's a very nice one too. And surprisingly not crowded (maybe we were at the wrong time of the year...). The beach club will provide you free wifi if you use their premises (we did. Their beach chairs with umbrellas were a blessing). All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much and we have our host to thank for that.

We stayed in this lovely house in the heart of the village for 8 people for 4 days. All rooms are very nice and with lots of charm. The sea view is beautiful. The premises are very welcoming, especially Gabi and Veronica who managed our reception on site. We ate at Veronica's restaurant every night, her cuisine is excellent and she took care to vary the meals (there is very little in the grocery stores to cook on site). We had a driver during our 4 days who was able to recommend beautiful hikes and booked our lunch. We were missing soap and shower towels, but nothing too serious for us. If you want to be transported and immersed in Cape Verde, Odile's is the place to go. We loved it!

Beautiful, modern apartment just outside the center, about 5 minutes walk to the city beach and about 10 minutes to the center. The apartment is furnished as new, clean and has everything you need for a successful vacation. Pleasant bed and shower with decent water pressure. Recommended! Deborah is an attentive host, communicating with her was very easy and quick.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a wonderful time in Carlos's dream house. Great views, plenty of space and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Multiple seats around the house and a driveway behind the gate to place a car. Possibility to cook in the large kitchen, the shop next to the house even has sandwiches and fresh eggs. A number of kittens and cats sometimes walked through the garden(do not come in), they do like an extra bite to eat ;) Don't forget to bring something for the mostly poor population such as the inhabitants of the distant mountain villages, a small effort with a big effect! Among other things, we brought colored pencils, erasers and drawing stuff, they were so happy. Restaurant Casa Maracuja is highly recommended!

Great location if your plan is to discover the island through the walking/bike paths while being surrounded by nature! Renting a car is strongly recommended for ease of accessibility.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. The modern design, great amenities, and stunning view of the bay made it special. Everything was well thought out, and we appreciated the bottles of water on arrival. Communication with Maurits was excellent. He was very helpful, arranging a rental car, giving us tips for activities, and even driving us to the airport. He always responded quickly and was super friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The Airbnb stay was absolutely amazing from the location being so close to the beach to having a well equipped gym inside the building along with a great restaurant. I would definitely come back to this location again I mean, I literally was scheduled for Zumba at the gym. It was super dope and I would definitely revisit this Airbnb location again. The walk to the beach is very short however, if you would like to take a taxi you can, but I walked after the first day towards the beach and beyond the beach area for food and everything.
