House vacation rentals in Sankt Englmar

We immediately felt welcome at Sabine's farm. She gave us many tips for the area directly upon arrival and showed us the apartment. A fire in the stove was already prepared so we could arrive and relax right away. Communication was always possible without problems and the sauna, as well as the massage, were the icing on the cake during our stay. If we need a few days off from everyday life again, we would come back any time!

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

In the lovingly restored blacksmith's shop we found a very enchanting and quiet place. Rustic and just right to disconnect from the noise of the big city for a few days. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts. In the house is everything you need, a modern bathroom and in contrast to this a rustic room with wood-burning stove where you can cook great. We felt very comfortable with Carmen and Franz and will be back for sure.

We enjoyed the days with Angelika and her family on the farm very much. Above all, the opportunity to be able to play outside and jump trampoline was particularly enjoyed by the kids, so we were just in the yard for two days on our four-day trip. The kids were also allowed to ride the ponies, feed sheep and chickens, and even help out in the pasture when work was up. Thanks for the nice days :)!

We felt very comfortable! The amenities and cleanliness of the apartment were really great. The only small drawback was that the bed creaked with every little movement. We will be happy to come back! 😊

A quiet paradise to reset. The place was much more than advertised. From fish you can pet, chicken the kids could feed, a little “enchanted” forest to two well maintained pools. If you want to cook, this is by far the best equipped kitchen I have very did find in a holiday rental. The hosts were very friendly - our kids did not want to leave and we did not really want to either. They have other chalets on the same huge property.

We felt right at home. Ronja gave us a lot of information in advance and check-in was absolutely relaxed. I especially liked the amenities. It was all there and more. From plenty of towels to cozy bedding (rarely slept in such a comfortable Airbnb bed!) to kitchen amenities. The location and size of the property are unique and despite the cold, the children were able to romp around in the swimming pond. All in all: happy to come back!

It’s a great house and the garden is beautiful. I cannot recommend this stay enough, just the atmosphere, the view, the garden, the quiet. It’s all great!

The cottage keeps what it promises. It is very modern and nicely decorated. Johanna is a very welcoming and accommodating host and has very good tips for the area. The area is very quiet and beautiful. Highly recommended!

From booking to check-out, everything went smoothly. Both the communication with the host and the housekeeper was timely and flexible. The cottage is very cozy and the surroundings were nice and quiet. We didn't feel like partying at the turn of the year, but we wanted to be more secluded and that's exactly what we found there. The kitchen is well equipped, you can heat the living room and the bathroom well, we didn't miss anything. We had looked at hiking tours before, but then just started walking out the front door, which worked out wonderfully and was also very nice.

We spent 10 days of summer vacation here House is very exceptional! The roof terrace was the highlight for us! The location of the house just down the road first irritated us a bit, but we were mostly on the road during the day and still felt comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. In the village there is a bakery, café and Edeka, which is very convenient. You are also quickly in Passau and there are many nearby excursion destinations. We had a great holiday overall. Jochen was a very nice host.

Beautiful location, quiet and great view. There are still many opportunities nearby to spend the day with the family or to go for a walk with the dog. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Gladly come back.

Beautiful simple cabin right on the pond, extensive grounds, very idyllic and quiet location, with creeks and mill wheel, swimming in the pond was wonderful, as well as the opportunity to make a small campfire.

We spent an extended weekend in the house and we enjoyed it super well. The house was a little hard to find but with directions from the hostess it worked. It may make sense that coordinates are passed on here so that you can navigate better. Arrived was nicely eaten by a fire. Very well equipped kitchen! Everything is available outside as described. Fire pits, hot tub to heat with wood (very nice!) and a new sauna. Rooms are also really nice and everything is so nice and quiet. House is the last one in the street (the gravel path). The children were able to move freely outside. An all-round successful stay. Thanks for that and gladly again :)

The very modern, clean, cozy and super-equipped house invites you to relax. The communication, hospitality and tips for excursions made the stay super easy. Highly recommended over the Christmas holidays!

Communication with Walter and Martina was great, there was a lot of information, they were always available and very friendly. We recommend the place: the kitchen is super equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the sleeping gallery for the kids the hit. For very small children you have to be careful, because of the stairs to the sleeping gallery, unsecured sockets and decor/glass cabinets. We did not use the garden/games/TV, so we can't say anything about it. Everything was clean and tidy. We had a great, unfortunately far too short stay.

We were there with the whole family, grandma, grandpa, parents and children. The house was really perfect for this, because you could retreat when there was action in the other corner. The amenities throughout the house are complete, we lacked nothing. The sauna and the water barrel in the garden then perfectly rounded off the stay. Shopping and a bakery for fresh rolls in the morning are also not far away. Highly recommended! We will be happy to come back!

Great and cozy place, very helpful and pleasant owner, can be a little chilly as heats with AC without controllers, but anyway the place is very good :)
