Amazing stay, had such a beautiful trip enjoying walks in the lakes, the big bath tub and the fire. The only slight downfall was the cockerel next door that woke us up from 4am, however after buying ear buds it was not an issue.

Great place to stay, very close to the village and a very short drive to Dalbeatie, host friendly and responsive.

A lovely snug accommodation in a quiet location. Ideal for getting out and about as we did on a photographic workshop photographing local wildlife. It was a nice place to come back to after sitting in hides all day. Would definitely like to stay there again if in the area.

Burnbrae Byre is an absolute haven. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need for a short or longer term stay. The utility with washer/dryer and freestanding bath were an added bonus! The surroundings were stunning and very peaceful with many walks out the door and a great base for exploring the local area. Alison is incredibly attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The Bungalow was perfect. The photos did not do it justice. Firstly we were greeted with warmth, the underfoot heating was so welcoming. The property was spacious and clean, comfortable and the small touches were considerate. Plenty of parking. Easy to walk around the town and explore. Nearby areas offer lovely restaurants too especially Masonic Arms in Gatehouse of fleet the carvery was excellent. The property was big enough for the two of us and we look forward to returning.

Mary's place is great to explore the area. The house is very comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Town is on your doorstep with all the facilities nearby.

We had a wonderful stay after the cottage with friends celebrating a 50th birthday. The kitchen was very well equipped and the living room was very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean. We loved sitting in the larger of the two living rooms and looking out over the fields. The hot tub was a lovely little bonus as well as the sauna, everybody said they would happily come back!

Another fantastic stay at the chalet! So lovely to visit in the autumn and enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches for wrapped up fun with toddlers. Stayed with a friend and our two toddlers and the accommodation was just perfect. Lots of games and toys to occupy them and perfect layout for kids all on the one level. Everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen and so lovely to light the fire on the last night. Alistair was the generous host as always; there if you need anything but won’t disturb you otherwise. Thank you for another fantastic stay. We’ll be back!

First class property. Furnishings were exceptional for a rental property. Welcoming touches with essentials, milk in the fridge and a beautiful bottle of wine. Looking forward to returning to the property in the summer to enjoy the private garden. Enjoyed local restaurants for evening meals and breakfast at Gather Laggan. Surrounding area offers so much.
