We had already been here for a week shortly before and decided to spend the rest of our time in Norway (about 2 weeks) here. We haven't felt as comfortable anywhere else as we have here. Ørjan helped us a lot without hesitation when we needed help. In addition, the Ragnarok hut was again incredibly lovingly prepared. The cottage is more beautiful than the pictures reveal and you immediately feel at home and welcome. You also notice that a lot of love and time has been invested here to create a cozy ambiance. The area consists of forest, a panoramic view of mountains and the lake and far away a few small lights of the village. You can put on your shoes and just go hiking, or leave your shoes, put your feet up and enjoy the view with a glass of mead or wine. In any case, you can't avoid having a wonderful time here😊. We will come back as soon as possible and take very nice memories with us.

We had a lovely time with our two dogs with Hilde and her family. There were a few hiking trails in the island and we were really lucky with the weather and were therefore able to enjoy the beautiful terrace almost daily. The internet was strong enough to remotely. A quiet place far from the hustle of everyday life.

Amazing home, very welcoming and a great size. There was a lot of cooking utensils so was easy to decide on what to cook. The bed and the sofa were cozy and we also enjoyed the use of the fire after hiking. The garden was also a great added extra for our family.

We had a great time staying here. The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful setting, and just being able to relax next to the lake. You can actually hear the waves, from inside with the windows open. This is really a hidden gem, and highly recommended if you want an amazing place to stay with your family and fuzzy friends. And the host was so great and accommodating. Thank you, we had such an amazing time!
