Vacation rentals with lake access in San Pablo La Laguna

Great place to stay! Beautiful view with extremely easy check out and great communication. Transportation seemed scary at first as it’s in between Pana and Santa Catarina, but if you start walking in whatever direction you want to go, you can find a tuk tuk pretty easily. We got ours for 15Q or less per person every time.

Spectacular experience, especially for us a family with young children, at the most incredible spot in Lake Atitlan. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury stay with great design, wonderful service, and an authentic experience overall. We loved San Marcos as a home base and were blown away by the warmth and hospitality of Annika, Daniel, Sandra, and the rest of the team. We can’t wait to visit again someday.

Truly a tranquil oasis. After 2 weeks in another Pueblo on the lake, we treated ourselves to a stay at Casa Valdes. The kids were in heaven in the pool. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking. Beds incredibly comfortable. Waking up to bird songs out the beautiful windows with breathtaking vistas was heavenly. The walk to the dock to catch a boat ride was easy. Walking up the hill to Santa Cruz was steep but straightforward. Don’t miss a meal at CEPAC in Santa Cruz. The only considerations, which PJ & Stewart outlined very well, is that you must think ahead about meal planning as you are not an easy walk to buy street food easily. Plan to bring provisions (we opted to stock the fridge with fresh tortillas, avocados, lime & salt along with mangos and papayas and were in heaven); make arrangements for Dominga to cook (delicious!) or plan a walk up the hill to CEPAC or a reservation down the dock at iguana perdida. We loved our stay so much!

Christopher’s AirBnB was clean and had great amentities like access to a football field. He gave great recommendations and provided contacts to boat and shuttle drivers. Would definitely recommend

We loved staying at Sofia's airbnb. The home is right on the lake with beautiful grounds to walk around. There is a public and private dock right by the airbnb, which makes it super easy to jump on public boats to other towns around the lake. There are even some nice walking trails very close to the airbnb. The apartment itself was furnished with everything you could need, was very large, and well decorated. Sofia was also amazing to communicate with -- she helped us set up transportation to and from the lake, including private vans and boats. These were all with trusted drivers who she had worked with for many years, and everyone was super nice. When booking with Sofia, she doesn't just book you a place to stay, but also helps make the entire trip to the lake successful. Thanks Sofia!

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Some vacations are so surreal they feel like a dream—our girls’ trip to a hidden cliffside luxury home was exactly that. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Atitlán. The house was a masterpiece, designed with elegance and comfort in mind, featuring an infinity pool, stunning terraces, and beautifully crafted interiors. Mornings were magical, with sunrise views that left us speechless. Chef Elizabeth and her team elevated our stay with incredible meals tailored to our dietary needs. The hospitality was top-tier, making our experience seamless. A few things to note: there’s limited A/C, and a 170+ stair climb to the home. However, the views are well worth it! Our must-dos? Hire Chef Elizabeth, book an in-house massage, and stock up on essentials in Panajachel. This cliffside retreat was pure paradise—we’re already planning our return! This place is absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay. Humberto was always there when we needed him as well as Albert for any additional questions we had. If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven, you’ve found it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was incredible. It was a short Tuk tuk up the hill. The town was not too crowded, but there were a couple restaurants to eat in the evening, which was nice! Would definitely stay again.

Kheily and Samuel were great hosts. Responsive with all questions and gave great recommendations. The location was great, near the dock and easily walkable to many different restaurants. The area is lively later into the night. This was not an issue for us as we were aware reading other reviews.

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

From the moment we arrived, the place made us feel right at home. We felt so comfortable that we decided to extend our stay for one more day to continue enjoying the amenities of the place and the view of Panajachel. Silvia was always attentive to make sure we had everything we needed, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We definitely hope to return soon to continue enjoying this special place.

Clean, full kitchen (could be restocked with some salt, pepper and oil), nice garden area. The location was off the main strip, about a 7-10 minute walk, which we appreciated for quiet nights. We slept very well all three nights.

The place is really very nice, however, it does not indicate that the only way to get there is by boat, except for this, everything was excellent

Sacred tree is a paradise in ATITLAN. A place that makes me feel like home. Peaceful and private, with direct access to the lake, private jacuzzi, private boat dock, Temascal, pool, Kayak, Paddle board. Noe, the property manager, will do anything you need. I’ve been visiting this place for the last 3-4 years and it never disappoints. Super recommended (if you can find availability :) )

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! We had a lovely week at Mathew and Nancy’s place. Matthew was very easy to get a hold of but we didn’t need much - everything was organized so well and the casita was stocked with all the essentials. We loved our lazy days swimming and enjoying the view and how close we were to all the towns when we wanted to explore. The views are out of this world and the privacy the casita provides was wonderful. We’d love to come back again and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Lago Atitlan!

Absolutely in love with Jabalito and all the gorgeous views, the locals are awesome & Nathalie’s home was clean and comfortable!! We will return to stay at this home again every year!!!!!!!!

la casita is a beautiful place to stay in santa cruz, it is a bit of a hike up but is well worth it for the views and peaceful surroundings! very glad we chose to stay here!

Excellent location and house for a large party. We were situated close enough to downtown Panajachel to be able to easily grab a tuk tuk, but the house is tucked away and very private. Ventura and Claudia made our stay at Lake Atitlan easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Patricia's place for large groups.

Beautiful peaceful home, perfect for traveling with my older parents…no stairs and accessible. Friendly onsite staff and very helpful :). I would definitely come back

So glad we stayed here! Just far enough from San Pedro for some peace and quiet but also an easy walk or tuktuk to town. It was perfect for our group of 6. Two women who slept on the sofa beds said they were the most comfortable beds of our whole trip! Marcos was great at answering questions and giving info ahead of time, and Gerson the cohost greeted us and helped us with everything and anything! He stored our bags, showed us around, and even answered messages to recommend places to eat and came and checked the propane with minutes (to keep the shower hot - which it always was). Having laundry was convenient in the middle of our trip too. Couldn’t have been happier with this beautiful spot, and always felt safe! Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay in atitlan. Calm, beautiful views, lots of nature around, we loved it. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook food everyday if you want. We’ll definitely come back! Thanks Miriam for all the help 🙌🏼
