We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

We were two couples with a child and two large dogs. We were super well received by Mr. Carlos, who, in addition to being a very affable person, was always available. The place is beautiful, the photos don't do justice to the house and the entire surrounding farm.

We had an exceptional stay! The hosts are a rare kindness, very caring and attentive: we feel that they put all their heart into welcoming their guests. The amenities are simply amazing: swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, weight room… everything is perfectly maintained and thought out for comfort. It was a stay of total disconnection, a lot of tranquility, everything was perfect, the house is exactly as seen and described in the ad, it lacks nothing, the beds are very comfortable, you sleep luxuriously, we really enjoyed the barbecue and the good weather. Jesús Manuel is a very nice person. He was always interested in making sure the stay was a 10 out of 10. He recommended places to visit, and very nice routes to take as a family, always available. Excellent house! 11 people with very good conditions. Lots of games, books, guitars and very comfortable. We'll be back! But we'll want to use the pool too. I recommend it 200%

Enrique is a super attentive person, we had a problem with the hot water and at the moment of writing him we solved it. The house is a real past, with a breathtaking view and every detail luxury.

Juana, the host, was attentive to us before, during and after the stay. She welcomed us with produce from her garden and gave it to us again a few days later. Super cozy house and true to the photos, with a super spacious garden, which we didn't take advantage of due to bad weather. Highly recommended accommodation to which we would definitely return. Juana is undoubtedly a great host.

Victoria and her husband are very friendly and responsive. The house is big and clean. The bedding is extremely comfortable. You have to park by the road (free of charge) but it is not very busy.

The house is as it appears in the photos. Although it's secluded from everything and that gives you a lot of privacy, access is extremely easy and direct. It has everything you need to spend the best stay. We went in cold weather and couldn't enjoy the pool, but we were able to enjoy the fireplace and the rest of the garden. In the patio there are chickens, they do not bother but it is a detail to keep in mind if you go with a dog. Soledad has been very kind and attentive all the time, she gave us many facilities and received us on the day of arrival to explain certain details of the house to us. All in all, it was a nice experience.

Wonderful to spend a few days with the family in the middle of nature!

Fantastic stay in Los Narros!! The house and the surrounding property are better than the pictures. It has a large private lawn area to play and where the children can be, a small stream next to the house and the barbecue area. Inside the house everything is impeccable, and there are many board games in case you need them. We went with small children and the area is ideal: the village is quiet and the children can play in it, and there are farms and everything is countryside around to walk and play. In just 10 minutes you reach El Barco de Ávila, where you can see its castle and the old part of the city, which is very interesting, and where there are good restaurants, as well as supermarkets, and highly recommended butchers and local product stores! Sonia was very attentive, responding quickly to any questions, and gave us many recommendations for excursions and activities in the area: the trail to the Laguna del Duque is especially recommended. Totally recommended, we hope to be able to return.

Diogo's place was a lovely countryside cottage located on his farm. It was peaceful and cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Richard and Ishbel offer a very special home, allowing you to get off the grid and be surrounded by beautiful nature while also being very close to many amenities - gas, grocery, cafes and restaurants within a 10mins drive. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and live next door and are very respectful of your privacy and helpful with providing suggestions. They have a large property that is a paradise for kids to explore with rabbits, cats, dogs, ducks and chickens - and even horses across the stream at another property.

We spent a week in this marvelous little house. It was just as expected, cozy, quiet, and super cute. Cristina and her family are very helpful and pleasant. It was a fantastic vacation!!! Fully recommended, a 10!!!!

This apartment has stunning views of the confluence of the Pinhão River and the Douro River. It is surrounded by lemon and orange trees. The place is secluded but very relaxing. It's best to have a car to get there. Otherwise, you can take a taxi from the station or walk, but you have to walk at least 1 hour on steep streets.

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

The space is extraordinary and the amenities are all present. lots of things to do or see nearby, and susana took the time to advise us on activities. finally sotoserrano will be greatly missed as well as susana which was a great meeting and who will remain in our hearts until next stay

The jasmine house of the fountain is a hidden gem in a small village of la vera. A beautiful enclave where you can disconnect from stress and connect with nature. We were really comfortable and our dog loved it too.

We had a really lovely family break at the house this summer. A cosy home from home, the house is steeped in history but has had sympathetic work done to it, to modernise in parts. The outdoor area was a real hit for us, it’s massive, so plenty of space to hang in the sun, eat meals in the shade & our kids absolutely loved the pool. It was also beautifully lit at night, so we made the most of the warm evenings to sit out there & take in the peace & quiet. A huge thanks to Nieves the owner, who is undoubtedly one of the nicest owners on Airbnb. We hope to be back one day!
