Family-friendly vacation rentals in San Clemente de Lima

This was our 3rd year staying with Juan at Los Veneros and we hope to return every year. I travel with my 3 kids (now 8, 6 and 4) and the space is perfectly set up for our family with good bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. The pools are a favorite part of our stay because they are large and the water is comfortable. The beach is beautiful and fun to play on. The staff at Los Veneros offered us goggles and sand toys which was so nice. We forgot salt but could buy it at the market along with other basics. We always go eat at the W Hotel next door and the meal is delicious.

This spot in Sayulita was perfect! The host was amazing and helped us plan airport transport, golf cart rental, and a private chef dinner at the place. Seriously such a great stay! The maid came frequently and was amazing! The AC units in the bedrooms worked great! But just a warning that there are no ACs in the living area/kitchen/bathrooms, so they get pretty warm. Especially the bathrooms that are open to the outside, they get very very hot by the end of the day. Not a deal breaker, just something to be warned about. Overall, we had a great stay and the location and experience was one to remember!

We had a great stay at this beautiful house. The ocean and jungle views are stunning (particularly from the living room and upstairs master suite). The house was easy to find. There’s an attendant at the gate 24/7 and the whole community felt very safe. The house itself was very comfortable and clearly designed with relaxation in mind. The quality furniture and linens, ample towels (tons of clean bath and beach towels in the closet), filtered water dispenser and strong WiFi were all much appreciated. Vicky, the housekeeper, was sweet and welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast on our last day. Chef Carolina also cooked an amazing dinner for our group that we enjoyed while watching the sunset over the ocean and jungle. The location is a short Uber ride up from the Zona Romántica—walkable, though the hill is steep so better to Uber if you have a mixed group. Marianne was a helpful and responsive host. I hope to stay here again next time I’m in PV!

We had a wonderful stay at David and Claus's place! The home was beautiful, with plenty of common areas to spread out, well-stocked with amenities, comfortable bedrooms, and well-located near lots of delicious restaurants. The hosts were very quick to respond to any question or inquiry and let us store our luggage after checkout. One thing to note for people hoping to work remotely: The internet is very fast and can support multiple video calls, but it works best close to the router. Thank you for hosting us!

The house was very clean, with a great location and Gabriel was very attentive

We had an amazing time staying at D'Terrace! We loved the private balcony with a tub. The rooftop was a perfect place to relax, swim, sunbathe, and unwind. Very easy to walk to many shops, restaurants, bars, and of course the beach!

obviously I would come back, my husband and I loved the hotel. We were there for a connecting flight but we would definitely come back to spend more time at the hotel, which by the way was very clean, spacious, very nice pool and jacuzzi, very nice relaxing spaces. And the people in charge are super friendly.

Our family loved our stay at Milton's. Hotel amenities with privacy. Great location. We were even allowed to check out later to better accommodate our flight home.

It was a good place! We had some inconveniences happened when on our stay but they responded quick! They did everything to fix the stuff for us. Very nice people!! I recommend their place!!

We had an awesome time at the unit. Devin walked us through and gave us a detailed tour. The unit is really spacious and made us feel at home. We loved the filtered water. I never had to purchase bottled water. The showers are also relaxing and with comfortable beds made our stay even better. The rooftop pool is perfect which also has views of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again. James R.

The house is adorable, kitchen small but stocked well. There is someone who cleans the house which is very nice and well stocked with linens blankets paper towels, toilet paper, soap etc. location is so perfect. Laura helped us with anything we ever needed and was extremely quick to communicate and help.

Luis had the perfect space for us. The location was very close to the beach and many great cafés and restaurants nearby! The neighbour also felt welcoming, however it can be loud at times, especially during the night. Overall, Luis was a great host and we loved his place. Would highly recommend!

Casa Destino was the most unique, ideal place to stay that we could’ve asked for. The house was full of authentic Sayulita charm, perfectly clean, well equipped (comfy beds, strong AC, chlorine pool) and convenient in relation to both town and beach. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was great to have when feeling lazy but everything in town was perfectly walkable from the house too. The surrounding homes were always quiet, so while there are neighbors, it still felt perfectly secluded, private and safe. Amazing views of both the jungle side and town side, and a killer top deck for a sunset lookout. Nancy was beyond helpful with dining/beach location/activity recommendations, transportation coordinating and overall communication all week long. If you’re looking for a chill, fun and rejuvenating experience in Sayulita, this home is the cherry on top. Cannot wait to come back! 🌞

Casa Norte was wonderful! Walkable to the beach, restaurants, bars and more. Very responsive, provocative, helpful hosts that provided options for groceries, shuttles, and recommendations. Highly recommend!

Margaret’s home was absolutely amazing! It was our first time visiting Puerto Vallarta as a family, and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local shops. Carmen and her husband Fidel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They helped us book incredible activities and were always eager to assist with anything we needed. Carmen’s cooking was a highlight—every meal was delicious and made with so much care. The pool was a hit with the kids—they practically lived in it! We spent so much quality time together as a family by the pool, which made our trip even more special. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

The Casita is adorable and is just as pictures with a great view. It was hard to leave the patio. The location is great and an easy walk to the beach and town. This was our first visit to Sayulita , which is a lovely town, however the beach below the casita is very busy, lined with rows and rows of chairs and umbrellas for rent and each bar playing their own loud music, so the evenings on the beautiful patio were not quiet and we could hear the thumping of the music until the wee hours of the morning. We prefer less crowds so we spent our days on the quieter beaches, which is just a short walk away. Bring shampoo as there is none provided and a lighter in case you have to use it to light the stove and enjoy this beautiful Casita. We did. Thank you.

We loved Toscana house, and we loved Sayulita! The house is a short walk to the beach, and a great location in town. Close to everything, but not in the heart of the nightlife areas. We hope to be back very soon!

Our stay was everything we were looking and hoping for! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and so close to the main center with all the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The pool was so nice and relaxing, we were so happy to have it as an option, and loved the lounging area in the pool area. Hosts were so friendly and always quick at responding. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend!

We loved this place! It had a lot of room and we really felt immersed in Mexican culture. Lots of character and was super easy and hassle free. We would stay there again.

Our family had a great vacation here. Everything was very clean and organized. The host provided ample information to help us explore the area. The pool felt fantastic during the summer heat. The location of this house is very close to the beach and a short walk to anywhere you want to go in the area. We highly recommend staying here.

Wow... we loved everything! As soon as we met Homero during check in, we knew that we were going to have a lovely stay. He and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming. Their home was everything we could have hoped for. The space was comfortable, clean, felt like home and has everything you could need. From sunscreen, floaties, beach chairs, bikes, charcoal - it felt like we were staying with family. The private parking with a gated yard makes you feel super secure at night although the location is already quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay so much we extended our reservation an extra day. We researched many houses in Sayulita and it was a difficult choice to narrow down. With this place we picked the right one! Excellent location and easy to walk to and from town as well as the beach. Only one small section of steeper street to manage at the top but pretty easy compared to some of the other places around town and how steep the roads are. Plenty of golf cart rentals if you need one but we never felt it was needed for us. Everything is very close by as this is a nice smaller town that is easily manageable once you spend a few days here. The house has plenty of space and the roof top patio and pool were must haves to relax and enjoy the views. If you are choosing between a few narrowed down selections you won’t be disappointed with this house. We would definitely rent again. Prices in town seemed on average about half of Puerto Vallarta and other heavy tourist Mexico spots for food and drinks. Safe town. Friendly people. Incredible food. Always felt welcomed.

Great spot for a bachelorette party! Lots of space for a bigger group, well-stocked kitchen, and easily walkable to town. Would stay again!
