Loft vacation rentals in San Carlos

Highly recommend! First, the location is perfect, you are within walking distance to everything in the center of La Fortuna. Second, the grounds are beautiful and secure. Third, the rooms are private and comfortable. The rooftop alone is worth the stay, you have a beautiful volcano view. Originally, I was in number 16 but it was a little cramped and there wasn’t enough room for my large suitcase. The team was super accommodating and allowed me to switch to number 14. They also gave great local recommendations. If you’re visiting La Fortuna, this is the place to stay!

I've stayed in Fortuna a number of times, this is easily the best place and deal I've found in the town so far. I highly reccomend it!

I absolutely loved this place. In walking distance to many great restaurants! Always smiling faces on the grounds and there were such beautiful views every way you looked. I was solo traveling and I felt completely safe in the area. Even when leaving a restaurant at night. The place is very populated. Every question I had was answered quickly. Thank you for an amazing birthday stay! I will be back. Please also try the restaurant next door sooooo tasty and affordable!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Erik’s place. It was the perfect oasis. The location was perfect walkable to town and restaurants. We loved the size of the room and the rooftop was so perfect for reading and yoga. We hope to return to La Fortuna and plan to stay again . Thank you Erik!

Roy’s place was a beautiful escape in La Fortuna. Very close to downtown with great restaurants and very walkable which was great even though we had a car. The view of the volcano was stunning in the morning and the whole property was very well maintained. Comfy bed, lots of room, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a full day of excursions. Highly recommend for your stay in La Fortuna!

We really liked this Airbnb. It was nicely decorated and furnished. It felt newish and fresh and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The air conditioning was great and quiet. We did not have a car, so the location was good for walking everywhere easily. Alex was a super helpful host. Alex made excellent recommendations for restaurants. We asked many questions, and he helped us at every step. He even sent maps when we wanted to find the Friday Organic Farmer's Market, which is called Feria Agricultura. This is a nice place if you want fruit and vegetables and local flavor, it is in a green wood building about 15-20 min walk. There is a lot to see in this area, we highly recommend. The Arenal Volcano is worth seeing and this Airbnb will be great for that.

Reyna is the best :) She is always happy & ready to help. We stayed in another house because reparation was needed, but she really came through. There are often no numbers at the houses in Costa Rica so due to an internet problem it was a little search to find the right house, but after that we were happy we stayed in a nice neighbourhood and also close to the centre.

Fantastic little gem. Great comfortable place. Unique and fun place. The roof top area is really cool. The kitchen is extremely functional. The bedroom area is great.

My stay here was absolutely great felt like home and felt safe there are also good restaurants and popular activities nearby and the host was wonderful with recommendations the place was clean and most important to me the sheets and towels were spotless I would definitely stay again

Ana Ruth and Al were fabulous hosts and very kind to all of us. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic floor plan for larger parties.

Andrés thought of every detail! We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Monteverde is a stunning region and our visit was made even more memorable by staying in this beautiful home. On our last morning, we woke up and spotted monkeys in the trees maybe 100 ft from our window which was incredible. I would highly recommend Andrés place!

Such a fabulous place, would definitely return if I'm in Costa Rica again. Can't think of a single thing missing!

Great stay while we were in Monteverde. We were busy with tours while there, this place was at a good location for that.

The lodging we experienced here was truly delightful and the place was super clean. Our hosts', Elida and Federico, hospitality was superb and we got to experience La Fortuna like one of the locals. We took the boat tour of Cano Negro and had one of our favorite and most memorable life experiences while staying here. It was probably the best guided private tours available in the whole country and a extremely great value. Elida, our guide and host, arranged the whole day which included; a drive through the country side around the infamous Arenal Volcano, an extensive boat ride up river to a protected reserve where we saw rare wetland birds, caymen, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, snakes etc all living in their natural habitats. We also got to fish and enjoy our catch freshly prepared in LuLo's outdoor kitchen. While lunch was being prepared, Brayan our boat operator, gave us a tour of his Cacao farm and explained how to process it as well as harvested fresh coconut and other tropical fruits to sample. We were treated like royalty and everyone involved was enriched through intriguing interactions and exchanges. Spanish language skills are preferable but not required for this experience.
