Vacation rentals with beach access in Saint Julian's Bay

Lovely little apartment, was mine and my partners first time visiting Malta and it was perfect walking distance to get a ferry to Valletta, walk to St Paul’s beach or to go for drinks/dinner at the popular St Paul’s strip. Lovely building with all you could need and a brilliant host!

Diane’s place is well situated in Sliema, a busy tourist centric area. For those that are looking for an authentic Maltese experience, perhaps consider Floriana or closer to Valletta. It’s a 30 minute bus journey into Valletta from the apartment. Buses come regularly and are efficient, but a word of warning to fellow travellers. Malta is a victim of its own success as a tourist attraction. It’s busy. Very busy. And it’s challenging to find peace and quiet. Gozo is your best option for this. Diane is a great host. She let me check in early and is very helpful. The apartment has a great view from the kitchen, but the balcony is small and being high up, quite windy. The other rooms are quite dark with little natural light. But the apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The building is in a terrace of other apartments so you will hear other residents in nearby buildings. I was conscious of this at night.

A lovely, comfortable apartment in an Old Townhouse with easy access to all Valletta has to offer. We also enjoyed access to the lounge and balcony on the floor above with views over city rooftops and the Mediterranean. The terrace also has impressive views of the Church Dome and Cathedral Spire to the rear. These landmarks dominate views of Valletta from the sea and are wonderful lit up at night. Michelle is a great host, fun to be around and her cats are the best behaved we have ever encountered. She is very discreet and respectful of your privacy. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely apartment, pristine. In a lovely part of the bay which is quieter away from the main beach. There was a really nice swimming spot just a stones throw from the front door! Fabulous stay, we would highly recommend!

This was one of the BEST Air Bnb’s we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve had the privilege to visit many! Our host was absolutely amazing and super thoughtful! He welcomed us with grapes, apples, bananas, local bread, wine, two cans of local beer to try, and even a local soda to try. In the restroom he provided small toiletries as well. We’ve never been welcomed with so much and he was super kind and very responsive. The views from the balcony were phenomenal! The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Loved the ability to wash and dry out own clothes especially after beach days. If we ever come back to Malta this is where we’d stay again! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

We were a group of 7 seven people and the apartment was absolutely stunning. The Check-In was very easy because of Fiona‘s detailed and accurate describtion. Our highlight was the balcony perfect for chilling and enyoing the sunset. All in all: I can reccoment the apartment to everyone. The perfect choice for your trip to Malta !

We loved staying here and highly recommend to anyone visiting Malta. Good location and tidy apartment. We had a slight hiccup with the lock on the front door but Jan was very responsive and got it resolved as soon as possible which we really appreciated. Overall a great stay!

We had a good stay at Jake’s Airbnb. Everything was as described and he was responsive when we had any questions. The location is really great - right near the ferry to Valletta and lots of buses too. The place is as described and we especially appreciated the washing machine after a few swims. My wife and I spent close to three weeks in Martin‘s place and we loved every minute. First, the view was outstanding. We never tired of watching the harbour activities and the ancient city of Birgu. Second, the studio apartment was thoughtfully designed and thoroughly provisioned. We absolutely had everything that we needed for a long stay. Third, the location would be hard to beat. We were just around the corner from the Saluting Batteries, restaurants, various historical sites, and grocery stores and pharmacies. Fourth, despite being so well located, the apartment was extremely quiet. As a result, we slept soundly every night. Bottom line: we were extremely delighted with Martin’s place.

This was the most unique and best Airbnb our family has stayed in! The views were incredible and we spent so many hours on the terrace and balcony watching the boats in the harbor. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and highly recommend this place! Anne and Frances were amazing hosts who made the experience easy.

We loved absolutely everything about this Airbnb! Not only is it super cute but it had everything we needed for our full week stay. We especially loved being able to do laundry. The location was perfect for us… a quick walk to the beautiful Lower Barrakka Gardens and many restaurants. Also, an easy pick up spot for ride share so we didn’t have to walk far at all with our luggage. The area was super peaceful and quiet at night. The host was quick to reply and incredibly friendly! We hope to stay again!

The house has an amazing atmosphere, especially the terrace, windows and pool. The center looks better than in the photos. The host was flexible about check-in and check-out times, which was a huge plus.

We felt very comfortable at Edward's. Although the house is in the center of Sliema, the apartment is very quiet. You can easily explore the island on foot or by bus from here, and you can reach the rocky beach or the modern shopping mall in 10 minutes. The cool courtyard makes the apartment something special, a very pleasant place to end the day or to eat and relax together. The host was always very friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back.

From the time of booking, communication with Tina was excellent – fast, helpful and with many useful tips (e.g. restaurant list). When we opened the balcony door, the breathtaking view of Valletta immediately impressed us. The location is ideal: ferries and buses are directly opposite, supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. From the balcony you have a great view of the promenade of Sliema, and yet it is quiet in the apartment – the bedrooms are at the back. If we travel to Malta again, we would book this apartment again in a heartbeat. Small note: For Malta, you need an adapter for British sockets (type G).

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

Joseph and Alex were extremely kind and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the area was beautiful. Joseph provided everything we needed - we had cheese eggs and his signature sourdough bread when we arrived. We had a toddler with us and Joseph provided everything we needed for our toddler to have a comfortable stay. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - absolutely mind-blowing!

We loves the setting of the apartment and the balcony was the biggest plus overlooking the sea views. We enjoyed waking sitting having tea and coffee to start the day. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities we needed were available in the apartment. The air con in the bedroom was a god send. Such a great find in a great location.
