Vacation rentals in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive

We loved the little cottage! Close to downtown and Grands-Jardins and Hautes-Gorges parks for hiking. We had the essentials for this short stay; we recommend!

This is hands down one of the top Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect from the sauna to the amazing bed. No corners were cut when creating this house. My only regret was I could only stay one day. No wonder it’s always booked…it’s that good.

We came in October, particularly to see snow geese during their fall migration. As Maine residents, we know northern weather can range from cold, wet, snowy and/or windy to sunny and balmy. Havre du Saint -Laurent looked like a place we would enjoy no matter the conditions. Were we right! The house is cozy as can be, built, furnished and decorated with great care and taste. We were warmly welcomed by Mario and Louise and felt instantly enveloped by the comforts in every room as well as blown away by the dramatic natural beauty right outside. The geese (as well as other birds) literally flock right in front of the windows. We almost had to force ourselves to go out exploring because nature's "shows" changed with the time and tides daily. It's all too easy to feel lazy and relaxed in a house with a heated bathroom floor and a super-automatic espresso/coffee machine among many other amenities. We enjoyed the best of both worlds - creatures and creature comforts. We'd love to migrate back!

Guy's place was enjoyable. The place and area is quite peaceful. Hard to go to places by foot, but that's the point of this cabin. The views are amazing and Charlevoix is an absolutely beautiful place to spend time in to relax. The cabin was well equipped and had a good heating system. WiFi was fast and we never ran out of hot water.

Perfect. Amazing welcome. A lot of recommendation. Impeccable and quiet accommodation. We had a wonderful time. Comforting.

This is the second time we have rented the cottage and are very happy. Maybe we'll rent a 3rd time.
