The apartment is well located and offers us a wonderful view of the ocean. The beach is lovely. The terrace allows us to enjoy alfresco dining. In front of the building, there is a bike path that allows us to ride for miles to beaches located south and north of Saint-Palais-sur-mer. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from excellent restaurants. Loved our stay.

We had a pleasant stay in this very pretty one-story house. The layout is perfect and the environment is super pleasant: Route de la Corniche 100 m away and then the choice of Royan or Saint-Georges de Didonne. Perfect for walks or sports by the sea. Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Wow, this is a wonderful place. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The three totally private gites are in a private park with lots of trees and wild life. We stayed in the garden suite and it was like having your own home. We enjoyed having a dip in the heated pool. The beautiful Port-d’Envaux village is a two minute stroll away. Céline is a delightful hostess. We have stayed in dozens of bnb accommodations around the world - this one is the best by far.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

The apartment is in a very good location right in front of the beach and very close to the port and the city center. You can walk everywhere. It is spacious, very well arranged and equipped. Perfect for 6 people without being on top of each other. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking from morning to night. Really a nice place.

The apartment is perfectly equipped and clean. It is in a very good location while being quiet. It is a perfect base to discover the city of Royan and its surroundings while enjoying excellent services. The bedding is also excellent quality! Finally, the communication of the check-in and checkout procedures was very clear.

Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as shops. We also enjoyed the calm, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it's not a lockbox, it's appreciable.

We had a great 3-day weekend. Accommodation 50 m from the beach as in the description, the street is free to park. Florence is great if you want to have plenty of tips on nearby activities or restaurants. We loved the house. We'll be happy to go back. Thanks again and see you soon.

A real feast for the eyes, and pure relaxation. The apartment has an extraordinary ocean view, and Faucillons Beach is a real paradise. The equipment is excellent, absolutely nothing is missing, and the comfort is total. There's even parking space available. Royan's activities are a few minutes' walk away, and walking on the seafront, or inside the city is very relaxing. Jacky was very present for all the necessary information, and the concierge team in charge was very efficient and very professional for check-in and check-out. I highly recommend it, with family, friends, or alone.
