It is free and you could stay in your car if you'd like. But I would take some bread & feed the birds off the back of the ferry. Look for dolphins! Not much to do on Bolivar so we just usually turn around and come right back.

Great Rides! In the summer it gets hot on the pier. Go early for a few hours, stamp hand and come back after sunset. (check hours) If you stay, you can step out for lunch across the street at Wendy's.

Old time candy store that is a Must-Do when you visit the strand. Ice creams and fudge! Cases and cases of confections. They sometimes pull taffy on weekends around 1:30 or 2:00. Worth seeing!

Fantastic Food. Absolute favorite casual restaurant on the island. Check out "Patty Cakes" across the street for dessert. Owners' daughter Patty owns that one.

Our FAVORITE spot! The dead end streets offer nice beaches but no facilities. There are no cars on this beach. You can park on the street and walk over the dunes as long as you don't block a driveway.
