Lovely little area around the Dungeness River, where the Olympic Discovery Trail passes through. There is an Audobon Society building there as well, and the old railroad trestle is incorporated into the Trail. Nice little beach along the river just under the trestle.

Simply gorgeous views from atop the local mountains! An 11-mile drive up the mountainside from the Visitor Center in Port Angeles, available year-round (in the winter snow chains will be required). Great hiking trails during the seasons without snow, and snow-shoes or skis are welcome during the winter.
