It's very near the cottage, you can walk through it all the way to Bristol, traffic free and has 2 cafes. The walk through takes you past wonderful trees, the house of the original owners of the park and a deer park. It brings you out on the road to the Suspension Bridge.

First inhabited by the invading Romans who used the hot springs there you can still sample the supposedly healing waters and swim in them, look round what remains of the Roman Baths. It is a very beautiful City home for a short time of author Jane Austen, has good theatre shops, places to eat and is full of tourists but an essential place to visit and is just 10 mins from Bristol on the train but a good 40 mins by car.

Entertainment & Activities

It's gone out of it's way to reduce the animals, provide them with the best spots and rotates the animals to being in the zoo to having time in their Wild Place where they are free to roam. Wonderful gardens, great spot to watch the seals, penguins etc from underwater areas. Gorillas are wonderful and are part of a breeding programme to return these endangered creatures to the wild
