It's half a block away and SO delicious! If you eat it there they have a huge sand box you can take off your shoes (or keep them on) and pretend you're at the beach! We love the Desi plate and the Desi sandwich.

This place is our favorite neighborhood pub. Good cocktails, great tap list, good bar food. Inside seating and a few outside tables when the weather is nice. It's a short walk up the hill there...and downhill on the way home :)

If we are going out to listen to some music, it's usually here. Check out their website to see who's playing. It's a small venue, but we always find room to dance to good music.

Pike's Place Market is famous for a reason. Fun crafts, delicious local food, the first Starbucks coffee shop, and views of the Puget sound. My favorites are walking through all the seasonal flowers, watching the fishermen throw salmon, and getting a freshly made piroshky.

It's the best place (in our opinion) to watch the sunset over the water and behind the Olympic mountains. Usually there are pretty sailboats sailing around, too!
