McMenamins has been a long-time favorite and they have recently renovated a historic school into a multiplex entertainment and eating hot spot. We enjoy seeing a movie in the on-site theater where a wonderful menu of food and drinks are brought to your seat.

Adam's offers several beer choices of their own brewing and a variety of northwest and beyond wines. Live music is often presented on Tuesday (open mic), Friday, and Saturday in the bar.

Proven is one of the best bakeries in the area. They mainly feature a variety of perfectly crafted artisan breads though also include some morning scones and other treats. You'll need to arrive early to get these delectable specialities. Proven also provides an array of picnic goods for grab & go. Not currently open on Sundays.

Walk along this flat trail to see beautiful northwest forests reclaiming an area that was fully logged in the "day" and contributed to the fatal avalanche. View historic trail tunnels and remnants of snow sheds. Enter from any of three trailheads for a completely difference experience and sense of history.

Diamond Knot Brewing is immediately adjacent to the park and offers dining with views toward the water. The park is located at a dead end road beyond the sewer treatment facility. DNR owns a portion of the Snohomish County park and allows hunting - please be mindful.
