Simply the best local around. Proper “boozer” that doesn’t serve food but they are happy for you to order a takeaway to be delivered and eaten on the premises Super friendly owners and bar staff, great selection of local ales and the Tuesday night pub quiz is not to be missed. If you want to experience what English public houses used to be like then a visit is essential
