great newer spot with fun atmosphere and really good/affordable food. Get there a little early and enjoy a few drinks at the bar. If you go to LBI for a day trip this is a great place to end the day with.

there are 2 parts to Captains Inn. 1. Restaurant - old fishermans style place with great food. Check their website for specials like prime rib night. 2. Tiki bar - this place rocks! They usually have a band from lunch til about 8pm and super cheap drinks. This is a dock and dine place so you get the chance to watch all the boats come and go.

This park has just been remodeled and only a short drive away. In fact, you can see it from our home. There is a large pier for fishing and crabbing, bocce ball pits, horse shoe pits, charcoal grills, and a splash park for the kiddos!! Best of all, the park overlooks the Barnegat bay.
