The longest bar in Glasgow. Upstairs they do karaoke. Regulars and newcomers, all welcome. Just turn up - no entry fee - Give Raymond the title of the song you want to sing, and he'll find it from the 60,000 tracks he's built up over the last twenty years - and when you're called to perform -

The BEST authentic south indian food. We've never eaten in, always got a take away. It's a canteen style, scruffy around the edges but amazing. Really is probably the best Indian food outside of India!

Resturant and bar. ‘Stravaig’ meaning ‘to wander’ encompasses our ‘Think Global, Eat Local’ ethos perfectly. So wander off the beaten path into either the street level cafe bar or the downstairs restaurant where you’ll find menus showcasing Scottish produce that isn’t tethered to its roots. Awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand every year since 2012.

The best bookshop in Glasgow is an Aladdin’s Cave of curiosities, with thousands of reasonably priced books piled high in no discernible order. It is fair to say that, whilst you will probably never find what you are looking for, you are almost guaranteed to find three other books that are equally fascinating. The shop consists of two parts, an entrance where everything is £1 and the main shop where books upon books cover every surface. Located Otago Lane, it is near to Tchai Ovna, a wonderful Czech tea house where you can go to browse your bargains.
