Food Scene

One of our favourites! Bakery 47 is a quirky little bakery open Wednesday - Sunday with an absolutely incredible array of freshly baked breads and pastries with tables to sit in or takeaway. Although has odd opening times generally only from Thursday to Sunday. You should call in advance to check opening times for the coming week. 0141 237 9470

Milk is our regular go to for breakfast/ brunch. We love it's relaxed atmosphere with it's creeping ivy and mis-matched furniture PLUS the french toast with bacon and maple syrup is definitely worth a visit.

Sightseeing

The lighthouse has a few interesting exhibits on but really this is good for the views. *Note you don't want to go the viewing platform that the lift takes you to but instead the one accessed via the massive spiral staircases. Ask at the help desk if you have trouble finding it

Interesting collection of artefacts housed in an impressive new building. The Burrell collection is in Pollock Country Park which is beautiful and you can even spot some Highland cows meandering about if you're lucky!
