Food Scene

This is a pure-funky log cabin food truck, with an outdoor seating area. I love the Coconut Curry with Portabella Mushrooms, light on the rice. This is where the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) Hikers stop to eat, on their way to Canada!)

Said to be the best pizza on the Pass! If you are just about done in, for the night, they will deliver to the Banksonhaus at around 8 pm.

An utterly charming coffee shop, with quality food and great coffee. It has "kitschy" and kind of appealing souvenirs Not many tables, but it's still my favorite place to meet up with friends.

OK, Dru Bru is a brewery, not really a restaurant, but once you get a meal delivered from the Aardvark, it doesn't really get much better.

Reliable Mexican Restaurant east of the pass! The fajitas are Dave's favorite, but I love the spinach enchiladas.

This is THE restaurant for memorable life events, in the Northwest, such as a proposal, an anniversary, impressing the in-laws, milestone birthdays, the list goes on. The Brunch is a long standing family traditions, and during Mother's day reservations are coveted. It is a lovely, timeless lodge, perched overlooking the Snoqualmie Falls. We easily hit the $250 mark when we dine here. Locally sourced, wild harvest, on-sight bee hives, stellar wine selection, this is the epitome of fine dining. Make reservations at the window, and ask if Sandi is available to be your server.

The Salish Lodge Diningroom may cost around $250 a couple for a quiet, stellar meal. The Attic is a more relaxed setting, upstairs from the dinning room. They do not take reservations, & there are only 4 tables that are at the window. (The sun can be a bit blinding, they do have shades.) So here is the little known secret... Go to valet parking & immediately go to the attic. Ask if there is a window table available. They won't, so you ask to be put on the waiting list. THEN go out to the falls & relax, waiting to be called when a table is available. Dave recommends the Cheese Steak Sandwich. I love the Salmon & Beluga Lentil Salad. Warning, their potato chips are addictive.

An amazing view, with good diner types of food. In the evenings they also provide a lovely meal. The grounds are well landscaped. The large A-frame Lodge has more of a lunch counter feel, with beverage refrigerators clade in soft-drink advertisements. A great spot to meet friends, on the deck in the hot weather, with a cooling iced beverage at your table!
