My favorite place for brunch on weekends and it's just a block away. It's Melbourne organic, you won't regret it. Mama Malouf next door is owned by the same people and offers up terrific Lebanese fare

By far the hippest place that you'll read about in publications like the NYTimes, Monocle and travel magazines. It's pricey yakitori with a fun, party vibe. Get there when it opens or else expect a wait

While you're welcome to use the Nespresso machine, there is a corner coffee place (take-away mostly) that offers the most authentic coffees in the area.

If you want dim sum in a festive atmosphere, try this place out. A bit of a wait but they still use the carts to show you the food and Bill Clinton loved this placed when he visited!

While also a very good (and expensive) restaurant, the outdoor patio is the gem. In the center of Central, you have views of skyscrapers and the Harbour. A must for anyone visiting Hong Kong for the first time!

About a 5 minute walk away, the MTR or public subway system, is the most convenient and cost effective away to get around town. It is the first/ last stop on the "island line" with comprehensive, easy to read maps everywhere.
