The whole headland is National Trust owned. Walk down to the lovely Polly Joke Beach. Have a pint at the Bowgie Inn. Walk round the headland and listen to the birdsong of the skylarks and stone chats. Look out over Crantock beach. Even in inclement weather there is always something to see.

Rossland overlooks Goss Moor, Tregoss Moor is the next moor and then we can see up to Bodmin Moor and Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Goss Moor has a 7 mile multi-use trail (walking, cycling and horse riding), partly on the old A 30, partly the lanes around Tregoss and partly over the moor itself. The trail passes the door of the Screech Owl Sanctury which is also worth a visit.
