Sightseeing

Emerald Bay is a must see! It's just 1 hr and 30 minutes away. Won't feel like much when you're driving around beautiful Lake Tahoe. Take a hike around Eagle Falls (the waterfall that spills over into the lake) or take the trail back up into the mountains. Highly recommend getting there as early as possible Friday-Sunday. Parking is minimal.

Parks & Nature

This beach is truly hidden. Before the trail there are two rows of houses. Parking is minimal due to construction. However, after the second row of houses there is a dirt area for parking. You must know...this is also another Lake Tahoe attraction that can get crowded and it will be difficult to find parking unless you arrive early.
