Parks & Nature

The River Lee goes down to the Thames but you can join it from Victoria Park (follow the canal under the A12 and turn left when you get to the Olympic Park). The river goes through the wonderful Hackney and Walthamstow marshes where you can feel like you are in the wild. It also goes through the newly opened wetlands where lots of wildlife congregates around the reservoirs.
