Craigower is a firm favourite. It’s a steep walk but worth the view at the top! It’s about 5k up and down, so just over 1hr

A more challenging walk, allow 3-4hrs. Quite a gradual incline but the last section from the loch is steep and can change quickly in temperature so pack warm clothing. Absolutely worth the trek, stunning views across the hills and pitlochry.

Our favourite loch for paddle boarding or just a walk round! There’s a flat 5k walk around the loch with great views of the loch from the Dam. There are a few good points to paddle from but our favourite is by the fisheries, along from Loch Dunmore.

If you travel south on A9 there is a turning to left for Guay. Just up the hill you will find a small car park. The walk up to the loch isn’t too steep, around 6k in total. A really peaceful loch for a picnic. Stunning views across the valley. Great cycling from here to Dunkeld by mountain bike.

Exceptional food and cocktails. Located in Grandtully so a car is needed. Taxis available but must be booked in advance. We also recommend walking over the hill to strathtay followed by dinner.
