It is the destination of tourists in search of an historical attraction void of the hustle and bustle associated with the metropolitan areas.
Tours conducted 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. when museum is open, admission $4 adults, $3 students, Children under 6 are free. The purpose of the Edgewood Heritage Park museum is to preserve the rural culture and architectural heritage of Texas to ensure present and future generations an opportunity to celebrate their heritage.

Out here in rural Texas not all driveways or parking places are paved they are mostly gravel and rock, and its a sloppy mess, especially when it rains, so having a pair of rain or mud boots on hand isn't a bad idea. And your gonna want to bring some good comfortable walking shoes to enjoy the neighborhood and places to be!
