Dover Plains is 10 minutes away and offers a train station, multiple gas stations, a post office, a liquor store, CVS pharmacy and a food truck/ice cream shop with mini golf course. For restaurants, other than the Four Brothers Pizza place, there is the Old Drover’s Inn, a historic inn and restaurant.
The charming town of Millbrook is about 12-14 minutes away via Chesnut Ridge Rd., with lovely restaurants including Barbaro, Cafe Les Baux, Maura’s Kitchen, and for breakfast/lunch Babette’s Kitchen and Millbrook Diner.
