Nearest beach.

At the back of Stennack Gardens is Trelawney Road. This is the quickest route to my favourite beach. Turn right at the garden gate; at the end of Trelawney Road turn left up Bullans Hill to the end; right at Alexander Road; down to the mini roundabout; turn left down Porthmeor Hill. You will arrive on my favourite childhood beach – Porthmeor. It’s a 9 minute walk.

This is a fun experience. The location is also stunning. You can also walk along Penzance promenade nearby and take in the views of Mounts Bay. Jubilee Pool also has a geothermal pool alongside the main pool.

Take the train from St Ives to St Erth and back and enjoy the stunning views of St Ives Bay. You can get a connection from St Erth to Penzance or other locations. It's a 12 minute walk to St Ives Train Station from 5 Stennack Gardens.
