What to pack
Bring a sweater or jacket even in summer
London Lodge is at 8500' elevation. Since there is little humidity and we're at high elevation, the evenings get very chilly, even in summertime.

Wildlife!
Have your camera ready!
The Conifer / Evergreen area is home to wonderful wildlife. Mule deer, elk, moose, fox (ranging in color from red to black), black bear and mountain lion all call these mountains home.
Be respectful, keep your distance, and don't leave food outside where it might get our mountain wildlife in trouble. At night, close the patio doors so that bears can't get inside (yes, they do come into homes when they smell food!).
