The Grand Union Canal runs between Birmingham and London and offers some fantastic spots to get on the water. If you bring your own kayak or paddleboard we would suggest driving out to Elkington, (15 minutes) and launching from the side of the canal. It is a peaceful and quiet part of the waterway, also great for dog walking and nature spotting.

This small vineyard does not offer tastings, but if David or Jane are on site they always welcome people to pop in, have a tour and purchase a bottle or six! You can also call on 01858 434591 or 07989 091721 to arrange a time to visit. In my opinion their Tickled Pink Sparking Rosé is sublime, and their Bacchus is excellent for sipping in the sunshine.
