My Suggestions in Costa Blanca

City/town information

Altea is a city and municipality located in the Valencian Community, Spain, on the section of Mediterranean coast called the Costa Blanca. At present, the economy of Altea is based on tourism, which started to grow in the 1950s because of its good weather, beaches and labyrinthine streets with whitewashed house fronts that characterize the town. Altea is protected in the north by the bluffs of the Serra de Bèrnia, creating an especially mild microclimate. Its seafront esplanade is planted with palms.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

Faro de Albir

Really nice 30' walk in Albir from the city to the lighthouse at the end of the hill. Recommended during the morning for a nice run o walk.
Getting around

Recommended use a Car

In the Costa Blanca the best way to move around is the car, so you can enjoy more places and activities. The public transport is not the best option, except from Benidorm.
