This restaurant is about 15 mins from the flat in Holloway and has a beautiful outdoor area - it’s communal seating and they open up all the doors in the summer! Such good food (but slightly pricey)

This pub is approx 15 min walk from the flat and has a great outdoor area - it’s a sun trap so make sure you get there before peak busy times to grab a table. It does quite pricey pub food (which is okay?)

This is one of my favourite spots in London - it feels like a getaway to the countryside! Get the train from Canonbury to Gospel Oak (closest overground station) and walk up to the top of parliament hill and you can see great views of London. Try some wild swimming in the mens, ladies or mixed ponds (you might have to book in advance on weekends). But it’s best enjoyed with a picnic and a beer!

Getting into Central London

The quickest way into Central London is to get the Overground from Canonbury to Highbury & Islington and then the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus. It is roughly 20 minutes door to door.
