Mackinac is a great day trip. Take the ferry over to the island, rent bikes to ride around the island, and take a horse and buggy tour of the interior of the island. Most tours will stop at all the prime sightseeing locations (such as Arch Rock and the fort). Don’t forget to load up on Mackinac Island fudge!
