Sightseeing

Spectacular views- occasionally you will also spot some dolphins! It’s also a good walk (some steep areas, though!). Dunvegan and Edinbane are also on the way back, where there are restaurants/ cafes for lunch after. It is about 45minutes- 1 hour drive from us (depending on the roads).

Beautiful scenery and hike. In a warm day (or cold, if you’re brave!) you can also get into the water. There’s cuil cafe on the way there/ back, which is great for food.

Beautiful scenery, less intense walk for those who enjoy sight seeing more than hiking… or are tired from lots of hiking already! Uig hotel and ferry inn are nearby for food. There’s also a cafe by the pier that does sit ins and takeaway.

Gentle, easy-going walk (sometimes there are cows at the first part of the walk but provided you keep your distance they tend to be fine). Lovely place for a picnic and a paddle/swim.

Lovely beach- you could easily spent the day if it’s nice. There’s also a good hike through the hills. Beautiful panoramic views. You might also spot some dinosaur footprints!

Again, stunning panoramic views. Sandy beach. Cuil cafe is on the route but it is also a lovely spot for a oicnic. There are plenty of walks here too, although they can be steep.

Lovely walk around the gardens and you can also go on a boat trip to see seals. They also have a cafe nearby in the car park.

Stunning my scenery, no matter the weather. Panoramic views. The walk can be as easy or difficult as you wish. It’s even worth just stopping to get out and look at the view whilst you’re there if you don’t have time to hike.

Beautiful views. Walk can be steep in places, takes roughly 2-3 hours but the path is well laid out. The views are amazing and the old man of store rock is interesting to see.
