The wineries out here are almost unlimited, so I'll just list a few of our local favourites
Great wine, adored by the locals! The infamous winery that sparked an internet storm because Dr. Bonnie Henry owns some shares.

Sightseeing

Such a fun place to explore! Great for kids and adults. Plenty of local history, a working water wheel, gardens, orchard, and a little kitchen serving up in house made goodies. The staff dress in period costumes which is cute, and admission is cheap.

Take a hike at this Indigenous owned center dedicated to teaching about local plants, animals, and the original people on this land. They often have rattlesnakes and black widow spiders on display! My kids used to love going here. There is a boardwalk so it's accessible for most people.

For those who want to get out into mountains, a drive up the Ashnola is recommended. Plenty of spots to pull off the road and explore the river, have a fire, or camp.
