At the bottom of Lincoln you can find the Cornhill Exchange area, which has some great bars/restaurants in the evening, by day it is bustling with visitors from all over checking out the local cafes and shops. Up Steep hill in Lincoln brings you to the Bailgate area, full of history and independent eateries/cafes. Here you’ll find the castle and cathedral. If you don’t fancy the walk up the Steep Hill of Lincoln,then there is parking nearby.

You can do a walk of the castle walls which give you great views of Lincoln and beyond. Don’t forget to visit the Castle dungeons too!
