A trip to the island of enchantment should absolutely include hiking to the waterfalls in El Yunque.
Must have a reservation which you can easily make online and it cost $2 per car. Best to wear has and ankle covered clothing and definitely closed hiking shoes. Truly a magical experience!

A trip to Vieques Island will change your perspective on everything. The nighttime kayaking on the bioluminescent Bay is one of the most magical experiences I've ever had. I took my children this year and we loved it! We went with a company called clear kayak and it cost $50 per person if you pay cash. Very reputable and it was small group with a very knowledgeable guide. Totally worth it! Rising Roost is fun for breakfast in town and bananas is the place to go in Esperanza before the kayak trip as it leaves from that beach. I give this experience 5 stars!

I took my children this year and we loved it! We went with a company called clear kayak and it cost $50 per person if you pay cash. Very reputable and it was small group with a very knowledgeable guide. Totally worth it! Rising Roost is fun for breakfast in town and bananas is the place to go in Esperanza before the kayak trip as it leaves from that beach. I give this experience 5 stars!

They also have air conditioning so it's a nice break in your day. Make sure you see the fort ruins and visit some of the galleries or museums. A wonderful way to spend the day!

The steak house is right next door to the Villa at Embassy Suites along with a great new Japanese Teppanyaki called Orient House. Both restaurants are excellent closed Tuesdays. Reservations are a great idea.

This place is a Hidden Gem in the small Dorado neighborhood. You can't even imagine that this place exists overlooking the cliffs. The food is excellent and it is a must go for sunset. Reservations required. Closed Tuesdays.

Katrina's is a very local place across the street from a beautiful walking Beach. It's also down the street from the local fishing port so they always have fresh seafood. Definitely worth a walk on that Beach and then I stop at Katrina's.
