Whether you want to have an energetic stroll in the early morning or a quiet one at night, Winston coffee is the best neighbour to be at the corner with its lovely desserts and drinks. My favourites - iced brew and flat white.

Sometimes you have to call a rain check to everywhere as the weather is really bad or you feel unwell to go out. Call the delivery from PhD and you will love their fried chicken and pizza!

Their coffee is fresh and great! (My fav - black or their special 'fizzpresso'.) It's just five minutes away and you can enjoy a great coffee! Their brunch meal and desserts are all good! It's nice to hang out with some friends here.

Fancy some exotic vibes but also in a trendy way? Potato Head in Hong Kong is the one you must visit. Indonesian food, beach cocktails, fashion interior, and cool music... can't ask for more after a long day in town. They even have a fabulous vinyl room behind the bar! (Live DJing sometimes)

It's a supermarket, it's a meat shop, and it's also a great cafe with everything you could think of and fancy in a day. Sometimes I only order a french toast with extra bacon (yes, sweet and salty... they're just too delicious to be mixed).

The staffs are friendly and they serve good coffee and bakery. It's a great place to casually chit chat with friends or to work here alone with your laptop!

The main supermarket I go mostly as it's clean and full of good yogurts. Sometimes you'll find discount items like meats and ciders.

Shopping

Two places must go when you visit a city - cafe and bookstore. Eslite is the place you can chill, shop, and get the most cultural local vibe!

It's one of the most popular luxury/homeware outlet in Hong Kong. You can find Lane Crawford, Joyce, IT, Chloe, YSL, Marc Jacobs and many brands with big discount here. There's one pet shop will hold adaption day on some weekends at their terrace, so parents who love shopping can leave your kids here as it's children friendly. There's one cupcake shop you must try! It's called Sift.

It's a very cool gin bar in a hidden basement behind a door of old ping pong practice room. The vibe is great and you could enjoy some Spanish tapas too along with those Gin cocktails.

Parks & Nature

My favourite time to go there is 4-6pm. I always play by ear when I see the weather's sunny and bright I'll come home to change and take the beach mat. Step out my flat at 4pm I'll be at the beach by 5pm, and the sunset is waiting for you ahead (or even not yet in summer time). Have a cool drink and lie on the beach. Maybe a dinner along the beach side after the chill?

Arts & Culture

HKU is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong with its leading reputation. For some oldest structures were built with Baroque-style as the famous heritage on Hong Kong Island. It's easy to walk up and see the views on the hilltop. Sometimes there'll be talks/exhibitions happening too.
