Family friendly with flat access and golden sands with safe swimming. Walk over to Porth Island via a footbridge. At the end of the island, there’s a blow hole that can be seen at mid tide, especially if windy!

The S W Coast Path covers over 1,000 km of English coastline and is a national trail with incredibly stunning views. Originally designed for coastguards patrolling for smugglers, it is now a wonderful path for recreational walkers. Walk from Newquay to Watergate Bay Beach or in the opposite direction to Fistral Beach and beyond. There is lots of refreshments along this stretch of the path.
