Fantastic coffee & cocktails van in a great open space with chairs and relaxed tunes. Perfect on the right day otherwise fantastic for coffee in the morning every other day.
Cocktails are generally available of an afternoon / evening over the weekends.

Iconic (get a Squishy or a Squashy) Bakery that you'll want to grab one or two lunches at during your stay. We recommend the sausage roll, salad and a coffee all in for about $14 as the best BFYB eat in the area. :)

Walking Barwon Heads? You'll want to make it to the Bluff to take in the near 270 degree views. Worth the moderate effort required to scale the stairs and inclined hills. Also 2/3rds up is some tables with great views - bring some food and drink. ;)

Right at the heads of the Barwon, this beach is always a safe and easygoing place for some beach time without the waves. You'll find lots of locals with kids there safely enjoying themselves. During the busier months you can rent stand up paddle boards (and similar) there too.

On your way here you'll roll past some great wineries and distillers. When you get here it's a great little town with some good cafes and a great pub. Known for it’s Portarlington Mussels - if that’s your thing too. :)

I call it surf suburbia - big history in surfing brands there with lots of local shops and eateries of different types to enjoy. The walk from front beach all the way around to Jan Juc is quite easy and spectacular on a lovely day.
