For lunch. The owner is in the kitchen and he cooks amazing pasta dishes. But be ware that the service is not very formal so you have to be in the mood ;-)

For Belgian food. We have been there several times and were very happy. But then if you just go for a beer, don't choose their cheese portion since it's one of the worst cheeses we had ever had. So be careful what you choose.

Not in our neighbourhood but this is simply THE BEST FISH RESTAURANT IN TOWN. Nothing like all the touristy ones. The owner is in the kitchen (which is open so you can see) and he knows his stuff. The fish is extremely fresh and they have the best shrimp croquettes. It's a little pricy but totally worth it and the portions are generous so share a starter and take a main only. The only negative side is the restaurant acoustics. If there are more than 4 of you, choose another restaurant otherwise you won't be able to hear each other talk.

Amazing Lebanese food. It's a high level snack, not quite a restaurant. Tell Ali (the owner) that Maëlle is sending you. Great for Sunday lunches since the whole neighbourhood is very lively, with the flea market taking place in the morning, and the antique shops.

A great place for mussels (69 preparations!) in a very Belgian setting. If you are an early dinner, take advantage of their early bird offer: provided you book in advance over the phone and know that you have to leave by 8.20pm, you get 25% discount on the food.

This is not a traditional supermarket. It's a cooperative supermarket which means that to access it, you have to be a member and work it in 2,45 hours a month. BUT you can be a guest for one month so take advantage of it!!! Most products are organic and locally sourced. You can buy things in bulk. Their bread is to die for and so are their vegetables!!!
