I'm obsessed with Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece on Central Park. The best was the motorcycle show. Perfect for the ramp!

Shopping

Best shopping on the planet. From Soho to Fifth Avenue, this is the main reason many people come to New York.
Just one block away! It has a Target, Costco, Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory and Planet Fitness. Just what East Harlem needed.

Huge inventory, outrageous bargains, couture and ready-to-wear. This is the largest of the NYC stores. Don't expect to find clerks on the floor. If you need help, check the dressing room area.

Essentials

For those day to day needs. Especially useful for long term stays.
There are a lot of nice supermerkets here, but my favorite is City Fresh. They have a great fresh fish department. It even has live lobster. (of course being that this is Spanish Harlem, there's even a place to by live chickens!)

Getting Around

There are lots of ways to get around New York, but your best bet is the subway!
The crosstown bus stops at my doorstep and takes you three blocks to the #6 or seven blocks to the #2. These two lines connect to EVERYTHING!

Entertainment & Activities

Between the colorful people-watching, great eateries, unique shops, street performers, hip clubs and Thompkins Square Park, It's one of the nicest places to explore in New York City and one of my favorite neighborhoods.
