If you find yourself craving a hot bowl of ramen noodle soup, pork or veggie dumplings, Korean fried chicken, sushi, or any number of Northeast Asian specialties, you must head to Samurai Bowl. Less than a block away from your suite, you can get takeout and it will still be hot when you get home. And we love the fact they also sell beer to go, when you're in a pinch.

At 436m/1,427 ft above the valley floor, the PEAK 2 PEAK is the world’s highest lift of its kind and a marvel of engineering linking Blackcomb Gondola to the Village Gondola in one continuous lift system. Explore the mountains free from the weather outside or take a ride up to Whistler’s new Roundhouse Umbrella Bar or enjoy a fine dining experience on Blackcomb at Christine’s Restaurant.

The Valley Trail and the hiking trail network in Whistler is outstanding. The best app to see the entire network is Trailforks, and it’s worth getting the paid version. You can toggle between mountain bike or hiking to see the different trail options.

There are so many great trails in the area that it’s hard to choose, but one very big, showcase route would be to hike Black Tusk.
Located in Garibaldi Provincial Park, Black Tusk is the most spectacular mountain in the area. Generally considered a challenging route, it can take 10 to 12 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are July through October.

What to pack
Sandals, slippers and snow boots in winter
We are huge advocates for having the right footwear for the experience. Be sure to pack light pool sandals to walk to the hot tub and back, snow boots if you need to go farther outdoors, and slippers to relax in afterwards.
