A very popular hiking destination. A fairly steep walk up to the top but worth it! The views are spectacular. Best to go early in the morning (before it gets too hot) or late afternoon (when it's cooler) and make your way down as the sun starts to set.

A beautiful, very special reserve. The Postberg part of the reserve is open to the public for a short period, over the flower season. They offer various hikes over the flower season. It is possible to go out for the day and do the one day hike (which I have done a few times and highly recommend it). The hike gets booked a few months in advance so you will need to book well ahead. Google Postberg Flower Reserve for more details.

Not only is the architecture of this building magnificent, the exhibitions are very impressive too. The museum also has an excellent gift shop. I'd suggest putting aside a couple of hours to explore the museum, as well as the surrounding area. The Silo hotel is a must visit. Go to the 7th floor for a drink, snack and phenomenal view of Cape Town.
